Savoury Pumpkin Seeds

A deliciously moreish savoury snack, easy to make...and to eat! Great as a healthy alternative to crisps.


Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes


Ingredients

  • 150g pumpkin seeds

  • a few drops of oil - sunflower, rapeseed, olive or sesame

  • a splash of soya sauce


Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180C

  • Place the pumpkin seeds in a bowl and add a few drops of oil (enough to lightly coat the seeds)

  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper

  • Spread out the seeds on a tray and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes

  • Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle a little soya sauce over the hot seeds (they will sizzle)

  • Use a spoon or spatula to ensure that the seeds are evenly coated in soya sauce

  • Leave to cool and they’re ready to eat!

 

These will stay fresh in a sealed container for a few days.
