A simple, delicious, no-bake Easter treat - sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike. Swap the dark chocolate for milk chocolate if you prefer, or use 50g of each!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Set Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 9 nests
Ingredients
50g unsalted hard butter
100g dark chocolate
3 tbsp golden syrup
100g branflakes
27 mini eggs
Method
Line a muffin or cupcake tin with 9 paper cases.
Melt the butter, chocolate and syrup together in a medium sized pan over a gentle heat.
Remove the pan from the heat and add all the branflakes. Mix together well ensuring all the branflakes are coated in chocolate.
Spoon the mixture evenly into the paper cases and place 3 mini eggs on top of each nest.
Put the tray into the fridge for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate starts to set.
If the nests are stored in the fridge, they may develop white speckles. This does not affect the quality.
